IntroductionI was born in Montreal, Canada and began studying watercolor in my teens under acclaimed Montreal artist/teacher Helmut Gerth. Drawing and painting only from life, these five years of classical training included several painting excursions to Kennebunk Port, Ma. I continued to explore other mediums: oils, acrylic and printmaking while studying for a BFA at Concordia University, Montreal. After a long hiatus from art and since moving to the United States I was able to get back into art seriously by seeking out classes and workshops with accomplished artists: Lee W. Hughes, Paul McCormack,, Everett Raymond Kinstler, and Joseph Peller at the Arts Students League in N.Y. to name only a few. I now devote most of my time to landscape painting in oils both in studio and plein air. My work has been published in International Artist Magazine and the art instruction book 100 Ways to Paint Landscapes. I am represented by Highlands Art Gallery in Chester, N.J.
