| Introduction | I was a wife-with-trophies for grades, writing, journalism, teaching, advising a national award-winning high school newspaper and leading numerous volunteer organizations. At 31, I was finished with being a human doing and started trying to be a human being. While enduring some serious health problems I finally gave myself permission to explore painting and photography as meaningful activities in my life. In these two forms of art I have managed to literally find light in the darkness. Oh, yeah. I'm Ella's mommy. I've finally found my calling. |
