| Introduction | In affordable housing, I was threatened and repeatedly harassed by owners, management, and mgmt's favored households. It was no coincidence when my living situation worsened after publishing my concerns and experiences. This corporate landlord's deliberate negligence, deceptive business practices, and non-compliance of leases and laws cause fires, anguish, suffering, and even undeserved homelessness. I'm disgusted to realize MassHousing, HUD, and DHCD continue to reward unethical and illegal behavior with grants, rent increases, and tax credits (LIHTC). |
