About me

Introduction I been gaming since the 1970’s, introduced to board games in my teens by my older brother. First playing AH board games, later SPI games, then D&D in my high school years. In college, first exposed to miniature games playing, WRG ancients, naval miniatures, micro-armor and others. After college gaming kind of fell off the radar as I was on active duty in the Navy, until shore duty and rediscovered 15mm Napoleonic’s with a good group of fellows. That nursed my interests until I left active duty and returned back to the mid-western part of the US. Reunited with some of my college gaming buddies, I jumped back in with both feet. Our group’s interests over the last 25 years has been pretty varied, from Games Workshop Fantasy Battles, naval miniatures of multiple periods, ancients, Black Powder, Flames of War and others. But I think my favorites has to be Naval Miniatures, and Ancients or even WHFB, but I am an unabashed rules junkie and have collected way too many sets, and love to tinker and design my own as well. So follow along with my chronicles as I tackle all the issues, and challenges that tabletop miniature gaming provides to me, my closest friends, and opponents.
