| Introduction | I'm a country girl at heart. I live in a small town. I’m coming up on one year of home ownership. I like to decorate on a dime. I struggle with pleasing people but, Jesus wasn't a people pleaser and I want to be like him. I have weird (to some people) ideas about shabby chic, french country, and western decor- I like to mix them all together. I have a great family; LOVE them, even though they can drive me crazy. I shop at thrift stores and yard sales, I love a good deal! I am borderline obsessed with Michael’s, Home Goods, Target, Ross and TJ Maxx. Sometimes, I feel like I'm a homemaking intern. I love to cook and have people over. I have an ongoing battle with laundry. I want to learn to sew really well (I do ok). Decorating for holidays and parties is my thing. I am trying to live my life in light of Micah 6:8 "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God."
