| Introduction | From the moment I could hold a pen, I've been writing. But, until fairly recently, I've treated writing as more of a hobby than a career. To commit yourself to a passion despite long hours, little pay or recognition, to silence critics (both external and internal) takes courage and quite a bit of insanity.
