Introduction I earned a BS in education from Texas A&M University and taught school for twelve years until I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of writing professionally. My publications include poems in Writer's Digest- May/June 2012, Red River Review, The Christian Communicator- May 2011, Skive Magazine- November 2010, poetsesspresso, A Handful of Stones, Poets for Living Waters (open mic), Poetic Asides; short stories in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Tough Times, Christmas Miracles by Cecil Murphy and Marley Gibson, The Dead Mule’s Society of Southern Literature- September 2010, and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Tough Times. I am a member of The Academy of American Poets and the local writer’s guild. I am full of gratitude for the wonderful life I have now because I went through a lot of painful experiences in early adulthood. I hope to share my inspiration and pass it on. Life is good- live it. Share with others your joy. God bless. Please visit my new poetry blog on WordPress ~ Bird's-Eye Gemini http://lkkolp.wordpress.com/
