| Introduction | HI, Glad you visited my blog. I am a Folk artist and designer, and stitcher..I have loved to Stitch,since I was a child,when my Aunt taught me to sew.I started cross stitching in 1980...and did so daily until 1991.~ At that time,I started Painting,and for a while I had to put my stitching on the back burner because I was doing art shows..and had no time to stitch. I was teaching painting,doing shows and very busy. But I missed stitching very much. ~ Five years ago I started a Primitive Website,MT's Whimsey and found myself leaning towards stitched items. Pillows,pinkeeps,dolls,Bowl Fillers..lots of stitching,but still...no cross stitching. About six months ago,I finally decided I wanted to make time to stitch again...and love every moment stitching. I have tried to stitch a little each day..and hope to share my finishes,some of my knowledge,some of my patterns...and my love for stitching. I am married to my soul mate...have two grown sons,and three beautiful Grand Children,and one Step Grand daughter..~Marilyn~ |
