| Introduction | This year I am incredibly blessed to have this opportunity to serve the people of Kenya, as a missionary for the organization Change Lives Now. It is a dream come true. I will be at Hekima Place (hekimaplace.org) from August 17 through September 13 working with the 60 girls that live there and go to school. I have been to Hekima Place for the past 2 summers. Then I am heading to the other side of Nairobi and live and work at Mogra Star(Mograstar.org.)which is a children's home with 140 children, and has a primary and secondary school for 1000 students in the slum. I am working on sponsorship of the students and post secondary college options for the students in order to better their lives. There is much to be done and I am learning how to love better. I am excited to see where these months take me, and bring you along for the journey. Thank for you for your prayers and support, I could not do this alone! |
