| Introduction | I have a love of interiors. From my first internship at Marriott Int'l in their interior design group I was hooked. I finished my degree at Brigham Young University, then received my design certificate from Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach. While attending school, I worked at Pottery Barn as their design consultant then for a health care company decorating nursing homes (you have to start somewhere, right?!) When my husband and I moved up to the Bay Area, I had the perfect opportunity for work as a residential design consultant at Hillsdale Home. I have since ventured out my own for Brittany Simmons Designs. We have two adorable boys, went through business school and now reside in the NYC area. |
