| Introduction | First I'm a grateful mama to the most amazing baby boy, Caden Isaac, born December 18, 2007. I have a B.A. in Journalism but I am back in school to earn a B.S. in Registered Nursing. I love all things natural and handmade. I live with my son and MY dad, plus our 3 cats and 4 dogs in a big house we rent from my mom and step-dad. We moved here in January and I've slowly been turning this obviously man-designed house into a cozy, comfortable home, basically on a non-existent budget. This blog will chronicle my design ideas and inspiration, and the DIY projects and results. I take DIY very seriously: I am even building my own furniture. Yeah, once I get started on an idea, there is no stopping me. |

| Favorite Books | Oh there are way too many to list. I love Gone With The Wind and Scarlet. Anything by Phillipa Gregory (Another Boylen Girl) and Bertrice Small. I love Historical Fiction/Romance. I really really love Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth. Awesome book. I liked The Girl With the Pearl Earing a lot. |
