| Introduction | We attended college in the late 60's at The University of Michigan [GO BLUE!] An exciting time!! Were we too busy trying to be responsible adults.??..getting jobs, buying a house, getting promoted and having a family. We never backpacked in Europe which many of our friends did...but it always held a lingering appeal. So in the early 1990's, we started self managed bike trips in Europe, and over the years we did trek our kids out west; first in tents and ultimately in a used pop up trailer we had for nearly 20 years. After a few years of rediscovering the joys of camping, we found that, despite being older, we were in better shape than ever. We've given up our regular jobs and have set new goals. We purchased our first Winnebago motor home in 2009 and have made plans for many years of ADVENTURE !! |
