| Introduction | Hey y’all! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Abbey and I live in Greenville, South Carolina with my husband, Peter, and our 3-year old Siberian Husky, Weasley. In August of 2018 I went back into the public school classroom as a kindergarten teacher. Previously I worked as an assistant director at a Montessori school after having taught for 3-and a half years- two years in second grade and a year-and-a-half in pre-kindergarten. About a year ago I started crafting and have been having so much fun! When I stepped out of the classroom and into administration I felt a void in terms of expressing my creativity. I had always poured my creativity into my classroom- lesson plans, activities, projects, decor, etc. I felt a little lost, so with some gentle nudging from Peter I began crafting. Now that I'm back in the classroom I'm still crafting and creating as a form of self care. It's so important! I started this blog as a place to share craft inspiration and ideas, but I've blogged about many other topics along the way and I'm having a blast so far! Thanks for coming along for the ride! |
