Introduction	By writing these poems, I hope to give others the chance to know Kerry E. Hansen, a woman whose courage, determination, and love of life guided her through intense loss and pain. Although Kerry did not have a chance to write the story of her life as she had hoped, she knew she had had a life like no other, and she wished her experience to be shared. Each poem opens with a quote from Kerry and narrates a different slice of time in her heroically hard and inspiring true-life journey.
