Introduction | I'm a kid at heart. If you saw my kayak you might think I'm a risk taker addicted to the rush. I'll buy another motorcycle as soon as my wife lets me. I taught my son to cook by accident and not design. He just watched through all the formative years when I was Mr. Mum. |
Interests | Kayaking, I prefer paddling in rough waters. My best paddles are like roller coaster rides, only without any rails. Over up, down, sideways, the more knocking about the better. Flat paddles are fine when you need to recover. Rock gardening has reshaped my kayaks hull. I'm a former skiing instructor. Still love the steeps, but I've a bad knee, so my best mogul days are all in my mind, where the moguls get bigger and bigger and the steeps steeper and steeper. |
Favorite Movies | I'm a movie buff. I like action, sentimental, even chick flicks, as long as the movie is well made and crafted I'll like it. |
Favorite Music | Can't be defined, I'm listening to Johnny Cash as I write. Had blues on earlier and listen to classical music every day. Developing a strong attachment to my son's cast off ipod. |
Favorite Books | A Soldier of the Great War by Mark Helprin, Read all the Patrick O'brian books, and am currently reading accounts of Drakes, Cooks, Vancouver's charting of the Pacific. If you've only got enough money for a book or a meal, buy the book. |
