| Introduction | I grew up in Oregon, went to Trinity Western University in BC, then University of Illinois in Urbana, then lived on Vancouver Island, and then a small rural theatre hamlet in Alberta. My husband David and I taught at Rosebud School of the Arts and participated in Rosebud Theatre. Now we live in Springfield, Oregon and participate in and produce theatre when we can. Our two sons are videographers and our daughter in law is private chef; we learn from them. Sometimes I miss the little village of Rosebud, or even Chemainus BC where we lived for 8 years and worked with Chemainus Theatre, but we have come to appreciate being back in Oregon, my first home. Stories inspire me to dream big, but find beauty in the small and mundane. |
