About me

Introduction	Puumaya is my Ghanaian name; given by my 'father', Pumo-naa, Chief in Northern Ghana. Puumaya means something as 'I am satisfied' or like they use a name with the same a simular meaning in the South of the country;'Comfort'. I was working with an NGO, based in a village in Northern Ghana, doing community work. Years before I discovered already that Ghanaians are very friendly people and (if they like you) also love your camera ;-)! Since 3 years I use the very simple Canon EOS300 with 25-90mm lens or with a Sigma 100-300mm lens. Before that I used only a Kodak AdvantixF600 (compact camera). This is a collection of simple pictures to share the beauty of the world we are living in today.......
