| Introduction | I am married to the Marine Corps and believe me I have the toughest job there ever was. Having to deal with my Husband being gone for long periods of time can be very trying. Right now he is on his 2nd tour to Iraq. The waiting for any word from him can some days take its' toll on my last nerve. My Faith at times will falter and I fall apart. Something as little as seeing an Egret with his long legs strolling across the lawn or a Dove cooing on the overhead wires that hang in my backyard brings my Faith back up a notch or two. I believe with all my Heart that my Husband will return safely to me and in the meantime I keep myself quite busy with my homebased business. I am a quick learner by making all of the mistakes up front and then I can move on. I believe that we have been given the Incredible Power by our Heavenly Father to succeed at anything we set our hearts and minds to. As long as we give the Glory and Praise to him, this is ulitmate success in itself. |
| Interests | My interests lie largely in the War and its impact on our returning Military Members. I will have to wait to pursue the Raising of Awareness on PTSD among our Veteran Military Members until my Husband seperates from his Unit. There are grave consequences for anyone making waves while they have a loved one within the Military system. I joined www.votevets.org to support their cause in the meantime. It is way past time to come out from under the covers of our Security Blankets and get involved in whatever small way that we can. One person at a time can make a huge difference. |
