| Introduction | The princess side of me likes nice things and traveling to interesting places. But, I never like paying full-price for anything. That is where my provident side kicks in. I save on everyday things so we can use that money for what we really want. I share tricks on how I have adventure on the cheap and everyday provident living ideas that help us save our money for what really matters. We find ways to take advantage of and enjoy what is in our own amazing backyard: from museums and national parks, to exploring the rich history of the places all around us. All while taking care of everyday life and being a mom to 4 little kiddos. As an avid reader I have always loved history and find there is so much we can learn from those who came before. I share many of those lost arts of self-reliance and provident living: Canning, Preserving, Dehydrating, Gardening, Food Storage and Budgeting. |
