| Introduction | I am a grandmother who with my husband who just retire from the LCMS have and still are raising 4 grandchildren, Ages 22, 21, 15, 13. We have a son who is married with 2 children and lives 400 miles away, a daughter who is the mother of the ones we are raising who movedin with us. I grew up along the east coast of America, by the time I was a junior in high school I had attended 17 schools. I have had 42 different addresses during my lifetime. I love to travel and discover new things. I like the color pink. I am a cancer survivor, my hsband has survived 3 heart by pass surgeries. He had to retire from the ministry last summer due to his health, so we are very limited in our travels, we had not planned to retire. Ministeries find it hard to retire, thought we would get involved in mission work, but looks like our mission was to the family at this time. Maybe we will have time later. I have a little Lhapso apso dog named lucie, my un tiring friend and so loyal. |
