| Introduction | Hi, I’m Lauren! I am attending AI-Las Vegas for Retail Management. I'm currently a server, but have 4 years of retailing experience and have done marketing and promotions at the Convention Center-Las Vegas for an assortment of companies for 3 years now. I plan on being a buyer/merchandiser and working behind the scenes of fashion shows. I like to shop and I’d have to say I'm good at doing it, which relates to the buyer aspect of my field. By having a bit of OCD, I'm always making things look better, which makes me realize I’d be the perfect candidate for a stylist or visual merchandiser. My fast paced lifestyle and need for change makes me realize I’d enjoy working behind the scenes of fashion shows. Traveling is a hobby of mine; I feel that everyone needs to experience a new place for a better understanding for people and the world. With the fashion field it's possible I can travel to Europe and all over the world to fulfill my desires. My goal these next two years until I graduate is to be very much involved in school and finding internships where I can network and get my foot in the door for my future success. |
