Introduction	After years of fast-paced, hectic living, I'm looking for a saner, more sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle. I've purchased 14 acres of raw land and I'm slowly carving out an organically-based farm. Rules of the game: protect and nurture the land, while integrating simple low-impact, self-sufficient concepts such as ecological design and building, natural and heritage food production, and alternative energy. And most challenging of all, pay as I go without mortgaging my soul. I invite you to follow my progress as I learn the joys and pitfalls of farming, building and more.
