|(Fall 2011) My life has become very busy lately. (They tell me that's what happens when you retire.) I will continue to post but the schedule may be a little erratic. Thank you for reading and a special thank you for your comments. HAPPY GARDENING! -- Over the years, my garden has taken many shapes – from a large plot of vegetables, through evergreen foundation plantings to the themed gardens of today. . I try to pick areas in the garden to take advantage of microclimates. I call them wanna-be gardens. A scented garden, a cottage garden, a woodland garden, an oriental garden, a formal garden are among the wanna-be themes. . I’ve attended gardening classes, garden club meetings, garden tours and flower shows. I never tire of reading about gardening or talking to fellow gardeners. I love to experiment in the garden. . My blog keeps track of success and failure. . Hopefully, with enthusiasm and a little humor, I can also add some helpful information for gardeners.
