| Interests | I am 37, happily married, live in the burbs of Tampa; helping to raise my bright, funny stepson. I believe the old truism that only boring people can be bored. My "roles" are just that --roles; not excuses to let my personal growth stagnate. Marriage, momhood, and gainful employment are not excuses to quit developing as a person. I spend my discretionary time doing things that I find interesting or rewarding. That may mean taking a Spanish class at the community college. It can also mean ballroom dance lessons, planting an herb garden, trying new recipes, reading, travelling, hosting a party or learning to sew. The list of interests changes with the seasons but I AM steadfast in my pursuit to be the type of person I'd like to sit next to at a dinner party. |
