| Introduction | I started experimenting with microbrews about ten years ago. Before that, I thought that staying away from the macrobrews meant that I appreciated beer. I was wrong. I started trying stouts before moving on to doppelbocks, wheat ales, witbiers, Belgian tripels, farmhouse ales and sour ales. I am not much of an IPA fan, but my appreciation of hops is maturing. I am not an expert, I just know what I like, or, more accurately, what I don't like. I hope you find this informative, but I would settle for entertaining. |
