| Favorite music | I love almost every kind of music: ’70s rock, yacht rock, nearly everything from the ’80s, ’90s grunge and metal, ’90s and early-2000s hip-hop, good country music, old crooners, and female-fronted post-punk bands. I have a deep and personal love for Billie Holiday. She’s my girl, and Strange Fruit is one of my favorite albums of all time. |
| Favorite books | I read a lot of nonfiction, biblical books, and personal testimonies of faith. I also love true crime, murder mysteries, and suspenseful thrillers, especially books by Greg Iles and Dean Koontz. In recent years, I’ve also fallen in love with fantasy-romance novels, including the A Court of Thorns and Roses and Empyrean series. Basically, I’ll read anything from a powerful testimony to a Mississippi murder mystery to a story filled with faeries and dragons. |
Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
