| Introduction | When Jesus said, " I am the vine, and you are the branches" I think that by branches, he was referring to the church in community. it just makes sense- so much was about the Kingdom and not about the individual, to Jesus. So that makes me a leaf on a branch! Leaves have such vital functions to serve: for one thing, they take in poison (CO) and return it to the atmosphere as one of the most important resources for life (pure O2). Then there is the way they soak up the sun's rays and through the wonder of photosynthesis, turn that into food for the plant's growth and fruitfulness. What a privelege to be a leaf! May my life as a leaf be vibrant green and productive. |
