| Introduction | I studied in Loreto House (Calcutta) and graduated with History (Honours) from Jadapur University in 1987, after which I did my M.A. in the same subject. I specialized in Ancient Indian History. During my university days I used to write for various magazines and journals. I used to work in The Statesman ,Calcutta. My books Kurukshetra and Kaikeyi were published by WRITERS’ WORKSHOP in the years 1991 and1 992 respectively. I am married with two children and currently am a happy housewife. Myinterests include reading, music, teaching, animals, travelling, and spending time with my family.I also love being by the sea. |
