About me

Introduction	I am a senior at the University of Southern California majoring in international relations, with minors in peace and conflict studies and French. I was born and raised in Mexico, and as I see my country grappling with poverty, environmental degradation and violence, I am moved to the core by the fundamental human tragedies that defy geography and claim the lives of millions while the privileged few disregard them. I work in documentary production and would like to pursue this as a career in order to awaken audiences to the silent struggles that rage on without our noticing and clamor for change, action and sustainable human development. This blog will be another avenue to shine a light on the forgotten and, hopefully, invite its readers to scream for the voiceless and rattle the foundations of injustice.
