| Introduction | I am a middle school librarian in a small West Texas town - actually where I grew up and have lived most of my life! I have taught for 26 years - most of which were spent teaching reading - and continue my career now in the library and pursuing my library science degree through the University of North Texas. Actually, this blog began as a requirement for one of my UNT classes, but one I plan to continue. Youth and their self-concept, well-being and education are passions. I truly enjoy the Jr. High age students. I love spending time with my family and am blessed by the relationships I share with them. |
