| Introduction | Born and raised in Eureka, California, I've spent the last two decades in Utah. In April 2008, I graduated from Brigham Young University, where I studied Spanish Teaching, TESOL (ESL), and Music. Two days after graduation, I met the love of my life, Danny Cooper. We were wed May 8, 2009 in the Bountiful Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In February 2013, we bought a home in Springville, UT, the same city in which we met and fell in love. Since then we've both earned Master's degrees, and Danny joined Willowcreek Middle School as a science teacher extraordinaire. On Labor Day 2013, we learned we were expecting a baby, and on Mother's Day 2014, we welcomed our darling daughter Elena Grace. After a seven-year career as an academic advisor for my alma mater, I left my position at BYU to become a stay-at-home mom. Since then, we've welcomed three more cherubic children: Emmitt, Andrew, and Adelyn. As the saying goes, our hands are full, but our hearts are fuller. |
