Introduction	Even before we met, Mick and I knew that we were destined to live abroad. It had been our childhood dreams. When we met, we knew that it would eventually be a reality. Traveling as much as possible, we knew that Brazil was where we would retire; planning for the move, we even owned a home there. Even the best laid plans aren’t realized. When we knew that it was time to leave North Carolina, it was Ecuador that was our destination. Having first traveled here in 2001, we were enamored with the beauty and uniqueness of this small country. This blog deals with our lives in Cuenca as we live our dream.
