| Introduction | I am 32 years young with a 10 year old son. He was my inspiration to become a teacher. When he began school at Head Start at the age of three, I volunteered in his classroom, and fell in love with being around children. I have been affiliated with Head Start since 2001, and have been a teacher in the three-year-old classroom since 2003. I love all the children I teach, but I especially enjoy working with children with disabilites. I am a person with disabilities as well, being hearing impaired. I obtained an Associate's degree in Education. I am currently enrolled at Walden University, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Child Development: Preschool specialization. |
