| Introduction | I'm a design and usability consultant with 10 years experience in the software industry at TiVo, Adobe, Excite, Autodesk, a French web consultancy, and AT&T Labs Research. I have a Ph.D. from Stanford and an M.Phil. from Cambridge University in Computational Linguistics and Speech Processing. I'm the author of a study on online chat community, Conversation and Community: Chat in a Virtual World and co-editor of a collection of essays about gender online, Wired Women.
