| Introduction | I am a black dog of great experience and knowledge of all things to do with pubs. My human family have been involved in numerous businesses over the years, from A Country House Hotel with Restaurant and Free House, through Leased Pubs and three Tenancies. We have together gained lots of experience and we are very good at what we do. The problem is that we have retired because it is not possible to make a decent living any more. We hope that other people will share their experiences and contribute their knowledge to this blog. We want to provide links to news articles and campaigns, new threats to tenants and lessees and any relevant advice from any source that will furnish prospective licensees with a little more real information upon which to base any decision to invest in one of these "opportunities". It would be nice to save a few people from the jaws of the Brewers and Pubco's and ultimately if we can arm just a few people with the knowledge to avoid the carefully laid traps that are put there for the unwary, we will have achieved our goal. |
