| Introduction | I am the Vice President of Strategic Development at Klingberg Family Centers in New Britain, Connecticut. I specialize in Trauma-informed and attachment based treatment of children and families and have presented extensively on this topic. I am the creator of the Restorative Approach™, a trauma- and relationship-based approach to congregate care treatment of children. I am the current Executive Director of the Trauma Research, Education, and Training Institute (TREATI), and I am a Faculty Trainer for the Risking Connection® trauma training program. The Traumatic Stress Institute (TSI) of Klingberg Family Centers promotes excellence in trauma-informed services both within Klingberg and to child-serving organizations around the country.
