| Introduction | From the mid 1960's to the 1990's I have been using an SLR of one make or another. I eventually ended up with a set-up that comprised of the camera body and a zoom lens after becoming frustrated with carrying around multiple lenses and a bag to hold and store all the bits of kit. The last zoom lens I used was a beast of a thing that had the range of 28mm - 200mm f4.00 - f5.6 and weighed around 1 Kilogram. Digital saved me from carrying wheelbarrows of extra gear that I could now fit in my pocket. |
