Lucky to be part of a family with rich musical heritage and legacy. Grand daughter of Prof Vechur Harihara Subramania Iyer and also the niece of Sri Vechur C Sankar. Won the Grand Finale of the Carnatic Music reality show ‘Ragaratnam Yuva’ telecasted by Amrita Television and was conferred the title of ‘RAGARATNAM’ in October 2009. Jaya TV – Pothys Carnatic Music Idol 2011 Was adjudged as the Ist Runner-Up in the world acclaimed and prestigious Carnatic Music Competition - Jaya TV - Pothys Carnatic Music Idol 2011, telecasted by Jaya TV during February 2011, which was widely watched and appreciated by rasikas all over the world. Won the National Level Music Competition-2009 of All India Radio and is an A Grade artist at the Trivandrum station of All India Radio.
