Introduction	In the 1940's my great uncle Benito Sanchez was painting rocks in the northern mountains of New Mexico near Tierra Amarilla. The Navajos have a very old tradition of storytelling through imagery which lives somewhere deep in my blood. So with little training and a 25 year break in creating art the ancestors are beginning to whisper in my ears. Visions come to me in moments of silence and as I cut the paper it tells me the story I am to create. With limited vision left in my eyes I have found a unique artistic voice to step up and tell diverse stories in a new way.while honoring the gift provided by traditions.
