| Introduction | I started this blog to make a diary of sorts of my journey from the start of me preparing to have Gastric Bypass Surgery. I wanted to document some things I went through and I am sure will go through. It has evolved from that to crafting. So a little bit of both with some other little tidbits thrown in. I hope you enjoy and if anyone ever has any questions please don't hesitate to ask. I am 51yrs old. Live in my hometown in the same neighborhood as I grew up in. I live in a duplex with my oldest daughter Amanda and my granddaughter Morgyn. I Graduated from LaPorte High School in 1973. I went on to College at Purdue North Central when my girls were in high school. I graduated in 1990 with an Associates degree in Marketing. I then went on and got my Bachelors degree in 1993 in Liberal Studies. I work at the Juvenile Services Center with juvenile criminals. I have been there 10yrs come this June 2007. I love my job, I love working with the kids. It can be a challenge some days, but its worth it. If I can help just one child then its worth it. I have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Even though its been rough at times, I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. |
