Introduction i am a professional shoe-tie-er and i do the chicken dance with kindergartners on a regular basis. i love to read, and poetry is my favorite. i love to be with my cass (my daughter, not a misspelling of class). i teach the finer points of verbal reasoning and essay writing to pre-meds. i dance, dance, dance. I am in love with beauty, and my passion can be infectious. I am brought to my knees on a regular basis by the beauty that surrounds me all the time. I love glimpses of people's souls - the bits of divinity that we all leak out. I seek the Great Work, the Summum Bonum, True Wisdom, and Perfect Happiness. However, I have also been known to do things like loose my keys and find them in the fridge Smells make me gag and sometimes puke (as does brushing my teeth - but don't worry, I still brush my teeth). "The soul in love lances itself out of the created, and creates in the infinite a world for itself, and for itself alone, how different from this obscure and fearful den"

Favorite Movies I LOVE David Lynch. The Big Lebowski, any really bad "Horror" movies (i.e. anything by Full Moon Productions and the like), really good horror movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original - not remake) or Hellraiser, I am a sucker for romantic movies because I am a hopeless romantic at heart. True Romance and Wild at Heart are two of my favorites. Lately, I have been enjoying the graphic novel series Angel Sanctuary - thanks to one of my students who let me borrow the first 6 installments.
