Introduction	Donna is a successful Certified Nurse-Midwife since 1994 who loves to empower women to become active participants in their own health maintenance. She offers full-scope Nurse-Midwifery care to women from adolescence through menopause at North Park OB GYN, Hixson, TN. Donna enjoys talking to teens about the benefits of taking the Gardasil vaccine to help prevent HPV infection and to help them make healthy choices in life. It is her pleasure to provide preconception and prenatal care to women and to support them during the labor and delivery process in their chosen birthing method, including Bradley method of natural childbirth, IV pain relief, or epidural anesthesia. Caring for women throughout the life cycle also includes the interesting and sometimes turbulent times of perimenopause and menopause. Discussing alternative and conventional therapies to help during these stages of the life cycle are also part of her day in the office at North Park OB GYN. Although the traditional image of a midwife involves home births, the Nurse-Midwives at North Park OB GYN deliver babies in a hospital setting, where interventions are available if needed to assist the mother or infant.
