| Introduction | I have been scrapbooking since the early 1990's. At the time I began, the supplies and tools were limited to glue sticks,decorative scissors and trace and cut templates! I look back on those early albums and am so tempted to redo them yet it shows the progression of my work as well as the advancement of the many wonderful products available today. I consider my work to be clean, simple yet elegant. I love beautiful paper and all the pretty embellies! In fact, I have an album of what I call 'pretty pages' that I can't even bring myself to put pictures on! I have a good sense of mixing colors and textures and I attribute my success in this area to the fact that I am also a quilter. The right mix of lights, mediums and darks makes for fabulous pages! Of course, no page would be complete without some stitching and a little sparkle! |
