Introduction | I have always loved making things. I have always saved old art work, clothing, ribbons, wire, magazines, and other interesting scraps of things to be made into something new. This is something that has always been a part of who I am and what I do. I have recently become more aware of the things that I throw away on a daily basis thinking that they are useless. I've also been noticing the things I buy that I think I need, like a new basket to throw all my jewelry into, or a new journal to write in. What if I could buy less of these new things and find ways to make them instead using items that would otherwise get thrown away? This would seem too big of a task for some. It is easier just to make a quick purchase. But me, I like making things. That's what I do for fun. |
