| Introduction | I am an almost-40 year old gal who has always had an entrepreneurial side. I have started many little business ventures over the years to support my shopping habits. The stock market bug bit me years back but I jumped in without much research and of course, got burned. Now I'm back but doing it the right way (hopefully!). I've spent the last 2 months studying everything I can possibly get my hands on and have also played around with "pretend" portfolio's and done pretty well. I am not certain of my direction at this point (my stock pick sectors are all over the place!) but I am going to continue to learn, along with a good friend of mine, and see how much money can be made in the process! Hopefully this blog will serve as a tool someday for others, especially the gals! I found very little out there, blog or website-wise, with respect to women investors.
