Introduction	Duluoz (Paul Gleason) is an assistant professor in the English Department at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI. He has published articles on various modernist and postmodernist writers, including Joyce, Lawrence, Beckett, DeLillo, Eliot, and McElroy. His biography of William T. Vollmann is forthcoming in the DICTIONARY OF LITERARY BIOGRAPHY. In March 2009, he will publish his first book, UNDERSTANDING T.C. BOYLE. His teaching includes courses on non-Western, postmodern, and modern literature; literary theory; film; popular music; and Shakespeare.
