Introduction Jeff is currently a PhD student in ethnomusicology at the University of Pittsburgh. He previously studied ethnomusicology at Bowling Green State University. He earned undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University (Telecommunication) and Eastern Michigan University (Music), as well as a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.

He has a passion for ethnomusicology and is studying the music of Nepal, music and dance, voice and identity, and legal issues in music. He eventually hopes to teach in a college setting and continue researching and writing. He believes the greatest service he can offer the world is to share his passion and perspective with others.

His primary instrument is piano, but he also plays horn, classical guitar, voice, as well as noodling around on a few other instruments.
