| Introduction | I am a Hispanic, common-sense-liberal, semi-sortof-but-not-really-Catholic, former Marine, gun-packing, rum drinking, non-discriminating woman. I am also a business geek and a professional Agile Coach. I am willing to admit that I am full of contradictions, and as a result some people (those who really don't know me) end up confused after a conversation with me. I love playing the devil's advocate during these conversations. It keeps me sane and it adds flavor and certainly just a little more confusion to the conversation. My heroes include my parents, Amelia Earhart, Margarethe Cammermeyer, Ellen Degeneres, and my sister. I admire people who are willing to defy society's restrictions, refuse to remain in everyone's comfort zone, and who know that when they are right, they are absolutely right. |
| Interests | My family, Billiards, Great Conversations, Golf, Politics, Cooking, Reading |
| Favorite movies | The Sound of Music, G.I. Jane, Deathproof, Under the Tuscan Sun, mushy shit and political shit |
| Favorite music | I love music. All kinds. Well, I don't care a whole lot for that brain bruising, bone crushing, headache motivating stuff they play in bars. Did I mention that I am full of contradictions? Right now, my musicians of choice are Brandi Carlile and Antigone Rising. Although I am resurrecting Bonnie Raitt and Neil Diamond from the depths of oldies but goodies. And in keeping with my confusing sensibilities, I also love Staind, Melissa Etheridge, and the Indigo Girls. |
| Favorite books | The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged, Anything by W.E.B. Griffith or Tom Clancy. It would be easier to define what I don't like: Sci-fi and Fantasy. |
