| Introduction | In April of 2013, I found myself suddenly single at sixty. After a period of pain, fear, and indecision I decided to do what I've long wanted to do: travel the US and see every beautiful, weird, and interesting thing this country has to offer. For two and a half years I volunteered at National Parks for two to five months each, but now I'm off the road, still living a marvelous life - just a stationary one. |
