| Introduction | Currently a first year student at Wilfrid Laurier University, I have a great interest in fashion and the fashion world. All my life I have tried to follow new fads and trends and I believe that this has impacted who I am today. I grew up in a house with three other females and together, we shared this passion. I have, however, noticed the impact that the fashion world can have on people, especially young women, and I would like to be able to point out the negative influences that the fashion world can have on a person. My blog will focus on the faults and hidden messages portrayed in the fashion industry, as well as how this affects those that follow it. I will be blogging about any interesting information, videos or pictures that I find that relate to the issues covered in my blog. This blog will differ from similar ones because it will focus on a number of different issues (racism, anorexia, etc.) instead of one specific issue. |
